Mrs. Kristina Denissen
In collaboration with dietician
Kristina Denissen obtained her Master’s degree in Psychology from KUL in 2005. She then worked as a study counsellor at KUL, a student psychologist at VUB and as a teacher in adult education, later she became a trainer and process counsellor at Obelisk and eventually became an IT recruiter at Anakei.
After five years as a recruiter, she decided it was time for a change. Because she herself (and her daughter) suffers from irritable bowel syndrome and many allergies and intolerances, she enrolled as a working student at Erasmus University College Brussels. She retrained as a certified dietician and in recent years specialised in sports nutrition, allergies/intolerances, FODMAP (irritable bowel syndrome), plant-based nutrition and intuitive eating.
Combining psychology and nutrition, her counselling has more depth and her nutritional advice can be complemented by cognitive behavioural therapy to achieve effective changes and greater insight into behaviour, thoughts and emotions.
