Dr. An Boeckxstaens started her medical training at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 1999, where she obtained her medical degree with highest distinction in 2006. For her training as a gynaecologist, she first worked for two years in a general gynaecology-obstetrics department near Mons (RHMS Baudour), where she also followed additional training in ultrasound. She worked a full year in Prof Paul Devroey’s fertility department, to complete the five-year training at the gynaecology department of the University Hospital Brussels.

Dr Boeckxstaens has been part of the team of gynaecologists at Sint-Maarten General Hospital since 2011. You can contact her for general gynaecology, prenatal follow-up and obstetrics, but also for infertility and incontinence problems in particular.
